Slow start today and a late breakfast next to the Flatiron Building. Not many mornings you can say you eat breakfast surrounded by NYC icons… Flatiron in front of and the Empire State behind us.

The kids decided to burn some energy in Madison Park Garden, the girls making friends with every dog that walked past!

We headed off to Greenwich Village to wander the streets of beautiful brownstone buildings. This is an area we could live in!

We stopped by 66 Perry Street, the home of Carrie from TV series Sex and the City. Claire and I had the obligatory photo!! The boys sped walked us past the shops in the area to get the kids to Washington Park for another run around and throw of the ball. Lovely to sit in another beautiful park and enjoy the buskers and people watching.

Time to head uptown to Central Park and do the north of the park. A stop by Belvedere Castle, all moody with its Gothic architecture! The kids found a place to hang out and play handball and have icecreams while Claire and Ngaire snuck off to the Guggenheim Museum. Unfortunately Thursday the museum is closed but it’s a great building to photograph and we did manage to meet a few artists out the front and purchase a few things!!!

Back in the park, we walked around the Jaqueline Kennedy Onassis Reservoir and then more bullrush fun in the north meadow for the kids while we watched some local teams play baseball on the pitches around us.

With very hungry stomachs we headed back towards Times Square to finish out day with fresh yummy Mexican and margaritas!
